1. Is this plan really free? What's the catch?
Yes, the plan is 100% free to use. There are no yearly fees, sign-up costs, or fees for uploading music.
The "catch" is our revenue share. Instead of charging you fees, we keep a 30% commission from the royalties we collect for you. You keep the remaining 70%. This way, we only make money when you make money.
2. Do I keep 100% of my rights?
Absolutely. You retain 100% ownership of your copyrights (masters and publishing). We only act as your non-exclusive distributor and administrator to get your music into stores and collect your royalties.
3. What is the minimum payout threshold?
The minimum payout threshold is $50 USD. Once your available royalty balance reaches $50, you can request a withdrawal from your dashboard.
4. What does "Vevo Distribution (Subject to approval)" mean?
It means Vevo Distribution is included in our free plan, but your video must meet Vevo's strict content guidelines (e.g., high production quality, no logos, etc.). You can learn more on our VEVO Distribution page.
